Marty Juergens

Marty was born & raised in Olympia, WA. The love of sports and competition initially brought John and Marty together. John was the head basketball coach at Olympia High School where Marty played two seasons for him. Marty attended Western Washington University, receiving a BA in Finance with minors in Accounting and Chemistry. He was a scholarship football athlete at Western. Marty's ability to perform in the classroom and on the football field allowed him to receive numerous awards and additional scholarships in Bellingham. His career at Western culminated in being awarded the Male Scholar Athlete for the university in 2000. John hired Marty as a business partner while at Smith Barney in 2002. John and Marty left Smith Barney in 2007 to pursue a fee-based investment advisory business with Charles Schwab Institutional as their custodian. In 2009, John and Marty created Kiley Juergens Wealth Management, LLC.

Marty previously served as Treasure and Board member of The Community Foundation of South Puget Sound and is currently the President of Olympia Basketball Academy.

Marty is married to his college sweetheart, Heidi. They celebrated their 20th year wedding anniversary in 2021. They have three children, Mason (17), Lauren (15) and Brooke (13). In his spare time, Marty enjoys spending time with Heidi, playing sports, being involved in the activities of his kids, and traveling.
